Community Events

If you are interested in hosting a community event that centers around public health/health equity, please fill. out this form and we will get back to you with potential funds to fund your proposal. Our commitee meets every Monday night.

Community event ideas include:

  • Host a movie night featuring a health-related film, followed by snacks and a group discussion.

  • Invite a teacher, healthcare professional, or community member to lead a conversation about a health topic.

  • Organize a creative activity, such as card-making, care-package assembly, or a wellness challenge, that promotes health awareness and healthy habits.

Community Health Education & Medical Simulation Event Stanford University

Community members and students participated in interactive medical simulations and discussions aimed at improving health literacy, increasing understanding of healthcare procedures, and encouraging interest in healthcare careers.
