Tiny Tots Card-Writing Day at the University of Oklahoma

Last week, Tiny Tots Health Initiative teamed up with students at The University of Oklahoma for a joyful and creative card-writing event, and the turnout was incredible. Across campus, OU students gathered with colorful markers, construction paper, glitter glue, and stickers to design cards filled with hope, encouragement, and warmth.

The goal? To spread kindness far beyond campus, one card at a time.

College Students, Community Impact

OU students brought passion, creativity, and heart to every message they wrote. Many shared uplifting wishes, positive affirmations, and drawings filled with sunshine, superheroes, and smiley faces. Others added thoughtful notes reminding kids and families that they are strong, loved, and never alone. These cards will soon travel to pediatric clinics partnered with Tiny Tots, where young patients and their families can receive a handwritten message made just for them.

Why Cards Matter

A card may seem small, but to a child sitting in a clinic waiting room, it can be a spark of courage.A reminder that someone out there, even a college student they’ve never met, believes in them.

This event showed just how meaningful community collaboration can be. When students, volunteers, and young people come together, compassion grows bigger than any classroom or campus.

Thank You, University of Oklahoma!

We are so grateful to the OU community, students, organizers, and supporters, for pouring so much care into this day of service. Your words will reach children across the country, and your kindness will continue long after the glue dries. More universities to come, and more tiny acts of joy to share.
